Default GAMBOOLING Blinds & Antes

In your opinion, what blind/ante structure promotes the loosest (and hopefully most profitable) pot-limit/no-limit hold'em games?

Consider the following eight-handed games:

SB: $5 BB: $10
SB: $2 BB: $5 Ante: $1
SB: $2 BB: $4 Forced Live Straddle: $8
SB: $2 BB: $4 Bring-In: $8

Are any of these inherently looser than the others?

One more thing, with the exception of the last example, all the games have roughly the same 'per orbit' cost. Does this mean that they should all require the same size bankroll?

Default Re: GAMBOOLING Blinds & Antes

In the last few episodes of the new season of High Stakes Poker they will mix things up. They will make the minimum buy-in $500,000 and add a third blind, making it $300/$600/$1200 (I'm assuming they'll still have the $100 ante as well). They said they will do this to promote action. If it's 8-handed, this is $2900 per orbit. Why is this blind format/ante format more action inducing than a $1000/$2000 blind no-limit game? Does having more blinds just have the effect of raising the necessary buy-in and the rest is just people's inclination to put more into it the blind structure than there really is?
