Card dead, then I pick up TT
$11 Sat. to the Sunday Warm-up. Table has been fairly loose. I have picked up zero hands to play thus far and have been pretty much blinded down. Only hand I raised as a steal w/A6o on the button and BB re-raised and one person called.
Eh...easy fold? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com SB (t5623) Hero (t1000) UTG (t1220) UTG+1 (t1160) MP1 (t3135) MP2 (t3544) MP3 (t3287) CO (t5513) Button (t1100) Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of t50. 2 folds, MP2 raises to t200, MP3 raises to t1000, folds to Hero...who??? |

Re: Card dead, then I pick up TT
Don't cold call a reraise with TT. The fact that you have been card dead and this is the first good hand you have seen in a while is irrelevant.

I even reminded myself when the action got to me that just b/c I had been card dead was no reason to push. So I was trying to keep that fact out of the thought process. Anyhow, I am cold calling for all my chips if I go (I only have a few chips left after any call). I was more curious about what my equity might be in a 3-handed pot (assuming both call). |

Re: Card dead, then I pick up TT
You have a mid position raise to 4xBB and a large mid position reraise. The reraiser is rarely bluffing and usually has JJ-AA, AK. You have some pot odds if the raiser folds, which he usually will if you push, so this is probably a push with JJ or AK. With TT, this is an easy fold, as you are up against a big pair often.
