Default Low Buy-In MTT Hands

OK, $5 Full Tilt 18 person SNG. I have been playing tight (due to lack of cards and two calling stations 2 and 3 spots to my left), but we just moved to the final table so half of the people (including the villain) are new.

Hand #1 - I fold UTG. CO raises, SB calls, Villain folds in the BB.

Hand #2 -

These are the only four hands played, in order, since the merger. After the re-raise, I was worried I was beat, but I was getting 3 to 1 to call and I thought I had some additional equity since he might still have been smarting over my win two hands earlier. I'm still debating if I could have played this any other way. Any thoughts?

raise to 1000 sucks in hand 2...just stick it in...you have some FE and you aren't folding to a reraise

You're on a shortstack, on the button, with AK facing only one raise. Shove, do it happily, cringe when he flips up KK, hope for an A, load the next tournament.

Both of these hands are very standard preflop pushes.

Fold PF in both, AK is a drawing hand and people have already raised in both hands, meaning they have made hands already.

I hope that you are joking when you write this crap? Anyone raising has a made hand?

By this thinking YOU would never raise with AK yourself because it's not yet a made hand?

Push it all in on both occasions.

agreed. however, it seems like all villains in MTTs these days interpret an overshove as AK and call with 77+ always. but what other option is there, def shove.

This is wrong. Both hands are easy shoves.

Hand 2: When a bet will commit more than half your stack, you are usually better off shoving.
