Need help putting a divx on a dvd

Hi,

I am trying to put some clips a friend sent me onto DVD but they are in divx format and the only software I have to write DVD's is sonic MyDVD which says it does not support divx format. Does anyone know or any free software I can use to burn a divx clip to dvd? Will Nero do it if I download it and use the trial?
