Default The Departed

Remake of the very good movie from asia 'infernal affiars'. this movie was VERY good. not on the same level as tokyo DRIFT or beerfest but still very good.

great writing, great acting, nice cinemetograprhy which made me miss boston

i could babble on about specific scenes but i dont want to ruin in for anyone. just go see this.

If you had said "Tokyo Drift" it would've been more clear it was a joke

The review in the local paper liked the movie, but thought it would have been even better if Mark Wahlberg had ben cast in one of the two main roles.

thats a good point.

since he grew up as a 'scummy type from boston' the dicaprio role would have been best.

damon was good though. you know a movie has you by the nuts when you actually have feelings attacched to the charecters.

he was really good in it though.

Planning on seeing it at some point this weekend. Many critics are calling it Scorsese's best work since Goodfellas.

I saw this today and loved it. I think Damon totally killed in this movie, and so did Nicholson and Baldwin and Wahlberg. I liked DiCaprio but didn't really feel like it was anything too new for him. I felt like I'd seen him play that character before or something.
