Bad beat jackpot odds
I was hoping some of you math wizards could help me out with this one. Whenever Party's bad beat gets over 100k, I start playing it. My question is: what are the chances of hitting it on a 6 man table vs hitting on a 10 man table? Also, has anyone been on a 6 man table when it hits? I really appreciate any responses on this. thanks

Not sure how I came across this the other day but there is some crazy math going on in this document. Maybe you'll find it there. Good luck |

Re: Bad beat jackpot odds
So does that mean that it's +EV to pay the $.50 JP drop whenever the jackpot gets above $77,500?

Re: Bad beat jackpot odds
I think you need a jackpot larger than $77500 because many of the deals will not be played to a showdown. Especially some of the odd straight flush hands will probably be folded pre-flop.
