the fold is fine, but why waste $6? make a real blocking bet or just check

Honestly, this was a long time ago. It looks to me like I got scared and was finding out what that river card did for him as cheaply as possible while still making a value bet..... But then again, I am not that smart. Maybe I gave away too much weakness with a 1/6 pot bet?
