This is tough, but it makes more sense to fold and pick a better spot. Honestly, you should have raised him on the flop to take control of the hand. Think of this: If he bets the flop, you raise and he calls. You may get checked to on the turn. Still bet there and NOW if you get raised you have a much better idea of what he may have.
But as played, you don't have much invested, cut your losses on the river and bust this overbetting villian in another spot. |

Ok, yeah, missed intro. Tough spot, against a lagtard. I try not to fold to lagtards because they do the stupidest [censored], so I'd look him up and make a note.
Mainly because I don't think he'll put you on an Ace, because he's a lagtard and would raise in your spot if you had one. |
