never played AA worse with real money; 5-10nl 6max
this hand has made me fuming. i broke some golden rules over playing AA. but i partly blame my laptop for freezing so badly i couldnt reraise. but regardless of that it was such a badly played hand.
all players on table are pretty sound (bad i know) i have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] utg. i limp. (bad i know when youve got sound players on the table) button raises to $40. SB reraises to $110. we all have stacks of about $1,000. i try to type in reraise to $330. but once ive typed in 3 it gets stuck. i frantically instead start pounding the call button. i just make the call, as does the button. flop comes: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB leads out with $220 into pot of about $350. i raise to $550 total. button folds, BB pushes for another $350 odd. im pretty certain he has QQ but call the remaining $350 (bad i think as well). he had 99. now the flop call at the end is questionable given he is only evvverrr pushing with a set so i should of folded. but i was fuming becuase one of my golden rules with AA is to only see a flop either when not giving the guy odds to hit a set or disguising that i have AA. this was just so tragic it hurt. im now off to dell to buy the laptop ive been meaning to buy for a few days. It costs $1300. Not having it just cost me $1000 at the least.

just to say its been fun guys. but thats me done for 5-10nl.
im getting my new laptop and dropping back to 2-4nl. i took a shot. won $9.5K. dropped $3K, won it back, just dropped $2.5K in last two days. that me done. played perfect poker tonight and the cards just worked against me. ill be back here hopefully in a few weeks but more likely a couple of months. good luck all.

firstly i didnt say it was easy just a lot easier than i was expecting, which it has been, without a doubt.
secondly the reason for me moving down is that this was 'take a shot' money, i dont have the 20+ buy ins to stick with 5-10nl. ive picked up what for me is a decent amount and id rather not risk losing it as the profit can get me my new laptop and mean and overolled for 2-4nl which im planning to 6 table when the new laptop arrives. isura are you being sarcastic? anyways, i know ill be back [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This reminds me of a hand at the MGM. I'm utg limp in with AKs two new guys sit down - hoping for a reraise opporunity
6 callers Flop is K73 rainbow "hallelou ya" check check raise I reraise then new guy reraises me. I figure he's got a K whippee. I go allin He calls and shows a set of 3's.
