Re: 10NL Flopped straight from the BB.
I suppose I repop it to $5 or so, but I'm not entirely happy anymore since I am worried about a flush.
I guess pushing is an option, but I wouldn't like getting called (whereas I wouldn't mind getting called as much if I just made a pot raise). Just calling and seeing what Villain wants to do on the turn seems like an option to me as well. Tough hand. |

Re: 10NL Flopped straight from the BB.
He could have a flush, or he could have 2-pair, with any of the combinations.
I wouldn't make it $5 under any circumstance. If you're raising it that big, what are you doing if he pushes? Calling? Folding? I don't like throwing that much money away. Raising to $2.50 is the only raise I like. I think any raise you make is met with a shove, and I wouldn't call all-in with a hand that could very easily be drawing dead. I'd call and see how he likes the turn. Pot control seems better here? you've got position with a strong hand, but he says he ain't scurred of the flush, so your straight may not be good. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, okay, but raising to $2.50 is practically just a call, isn't it? (Well, except that it opens up the betting again for Villain, which isn't that bad, since we can probably fold if he comes over the top big.) |

Re: 10NL Flopped straight from the BB.
Would trying to see the turn on the cheap be a bad idea? If its not the 4th club maybe step on the gas as see where we are.
It may be too late to really see where we are on the turn since we showed no strenght on the flop if we played it this way. Thanks for any ideas. |
