$25 NL: Flopped middle pair and a flush draw (line check)
SB was 45/30 after only 15 hands though. Should I have just called the turn, pushed the turn, or raised the pot like I did? I felt stupid leaving myself with $6 on the river and making a crying call. Besides that mistake, how would you play this hand on the flop and turn?

Re: $25 NL: Flopped middle pair and a flush draw (line check)
i think the turn raise was a bad move they both showed strength through the whole hand and you have to figure you might be called...in this spot you definately DONT want called....i would have called the turn and folded the river if i didnt hit......if you hit the river you were looking at a big mound of chips.....as for the river call down.....i cash games i dont believe you are ever pot committed..it is more a tourney idea....you can always reload in a cash game

I would not raise here for starters, unless you were just mixing up your play on this particular hand.
Raise the flop, you have a lot of equity and position. As played, just call the turn. A raise is now much less likely to induce a fold and your probably a dog at this point being offered very good odds. |

Raise flop, not turn

Re: $25 NL: Flopped middle pair and a flush draw (line check)
For starters, I think you really, really, really ought to raise the flop. You have probably have at least 11 outs to the best hand, and probably 14. Make it $5.

Based on your postflop play, you're not ready to PFR T8s from MP.

*grunch*
Raise flop, and check/fold turn (unless you have the odds to call) and river unimproved. |

Based on your postflop play, you're not ready to PFR T8s from MP. [/ QUOTE ] Well it was really the CO, since we're 5 handed. That said, I still agree with your point... I personally would raise here, but it's best to tighten up until you get more confident postflop. |

Re: $25 NL: Flopped middle pair and a flush draw (line check)
preflop is fine. flop I would consider raising, especially considering you raised preflop. As played on the turn I would call, you are getting odds to call and see a river. As played on the river I fold.
