Cost questions on neutering / vaccinations on puppy

Just got offered a free Chihuahua puppy from girl at work. I dont think he's been vaccinated or neutered yet.

How much is this going to run me? I went to friendsofanimals.org and they have these certificates for areas of low cost neutering vets...but typically how much is this going to run me?

I believe neutering cost me something like $350-$400 per dog. Other shots and whatnot probably totalled a few hundred over the course of about a year.
