Default Checking back the turn, leak

I'm not checking back the turn enough. My instincts say "check it back dummy". My agrogogogo says "bet bet bet". Discipline problem...you suffer too? Coping skills?

Not sure I follow you here. Check that, I am sure I am not following you here.

Explain with more detail what you are referring to perhaps with an example?

Exactly, cold calling flush draws hit on the turn and I still fire away when i'm checked to on the button. I think my agro is to high. Full ring micro's 20/14/2.7

Turn aggression factor is 4.98.

Sometimes it's correct to continue to bet/call, especially with the case Ace.

It depends on your read of your opponents, your opponents seem to know you pretty well. TAF is way too high imo. That much turn aggression is exploitable.

Cold calls on the flop generally mean they have a draw, when it hits its only with the case Ace that I bet, let a few go and get the free card yourself.

Once you do that, players will no longer have the option to check raise you on the turn because they won't know if you are going to bet or not.

If you stop betting the turn/river every time a scare card hits, you will be losing a lot of value. There is no simple answer when to bet/check. A lot depends on reads. A lot depends on the texture of the board. I would suggest you post some hands where you have been c/r'ed on the turn.

a basic plan that's worked for me the last three years is to bet the turn when i have something and check it when i don't.
