Default ugh, 25/50 AA

Full Ring. I haven't gotten out of hand. Don't know villain, he seems solid but who knows. He called a squeeze of mine after calling someone's raise earlier and folded to flop bet.

Stacks $6000.

8-handed I think

EP with 1500 opens for 150, villain calls right behind him, two more calls after that. I raise to 800 with AA, EP folds, villain calls, all others fold.

$2200 flop J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I check after 5 secondsish, he checks after about 20-25

$2200 Turn 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I think for a few, bet out $1400. He thinks a little longer than I did and raises to $2800 and I fold.

Perfect? Awful? Somewhere in between?

Since you checked the flop, which I'm guessing is to induce a stab from villain so you can crai, I think you pretty much have to call this minraise or shove. I think call and evaluate river is a good line. You can also bet/fold the river.

but if he has kk or qq doesn't he need to think a little? and if he has a set, doesn't he not want to give you a free shot at your 4 outer? or hope you will c/r your overpair?

Ah, so it was a timing tell dependent line. I suppose if it's been your experience that his actions add up to a flopped monster, sometimes you have to go with your read.

Butchered.

You really think he's going to bet this flop for you when you pop it to $800 pf?

Or did you put him on JJJ or TTT, and were debating an open fold on the flop for metagame purposes?

Seriously, bet the [censored] flop. This hand looks like an aborted fetus now.
