Default $27 AK & BB early

Hi,

<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, UTG+1 calls t30, <font color="gray">MP1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP2 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, SB calls t15, Hero checks

Flop: (t90) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets t60</font>, UTG+1 calls t60, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>

Limper is a limptacular donk, SB is ok I think.

Is there a good argument to raise pre ?
Other streets ?

With your read I am raising this Pre Flop for value. You are ahead of both villians ranges.

I would pot the flop here.

What are your thoughts/reasons for checking the turn ? I am not 100% sure what to do at this point either.

River I do not know which I hate most
(i) folding when I have showdown equity
(ii) calling with the bad feeling I just got taken for a ride down value street

Overall not raising this Pre Flop left us in no mans land as to what villian is holding turn/river and allowed him to see a cheap flop.

Pot control. After he called the flop, a Q and a flush draw are a good part of his range, imo.

I would agree, but we also have just caught the nut flush draw our selves.

With that in mind and the fact that we could be still ahead anyone lead 1/2 pot on the turn ??

i actually like the check pf, we're gonna be oop and disguise our handstrength.
i like a psb on the flop too, check/call turn is fine.
but i like a blockbet for 150-200 on the river and a fold to any raise obv.

Blockbetting is not in my arsenal nowadays but it probably should.

Can you plz summarize its benefit on this hand for me ?

sure.
you will prolly save some chips by getting only a tiny bet in, when Qx(afraid of the flush) or a timid player with a low flush(afraid of the fh, i have seen even that-tho this won't happen often) will just call, and not valuebet as hard as it happened here.
weaker Ks will sometimes call your bet which would have checked behind.
if you get raised, you have a very easy fold and have saved chips too in comparison to the c/c-river line.

I like check folding the river more then blocking. If he bets the river like this, there is no reason to think he is lying. I mean JT maybe? That seems really unconceivable given his line. Blocking bet seems to be a waste of chips, your line would make no sense.

EDIT: Oh and raise preflop obv.
