Default Play an instructive hand with me ---- what would you do?

This was in the second hour the $100k Paradise $30 rebuy tournament tonight, and can be instructive. The player in the BB is a pretty average player VPIP of 21%, PFR of 6%. By the way, Dalinoth was also at the table.

Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (7 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero (t16880)
SB (t11165)
BB (t12040)
UTG (t14960)
MP1 (t2175)
MP2 (t9645)
CO (t5515)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of t100.
4 folds, Hero raises to t600, 1 fold, BB calls t400.

Flop: (t1300) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t750, BB calls t750.

Turn: (t2800) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks.

What do you do here? Answers and the rest of the hand after I get some opinions.

I'd bet somewhere around 2k, say 2100.

How do you have VPIP/PFR on Paradise?

Steve

I'd bet 2K, too many draws.

I would assume that BB wouldnt try to get tricky and call your raise with 56 so I would eliminate the possibility of him turning a streight. I Would bet the entire pot by the turn to try and force my opponent out of the hand due to the numerous amount of draws possible.

This might be retarded, but is this a good spot to check for pot control? We're pretty deep here (by online MTT standards).

You want to make it mathematically incorrect for him to call - but you want him to call.

You don't want to force him out here.

Checking behind here would be a mistake IMO holding top 2.

In the morning, I will post what I did, and what happened next, but until then, please include thoughts about your plan on the river based on different river cards if he calls (or you check), as well as your plan on the turn if you do bet and then he check-raises...

Meh, you're probably right after rereading this

If we just had TPTK here I'm checking almost every time.

I bet 2200 on the turn to make him pay for his draw as a very wide range of hands may have called this flop including 2 overs, inside straight draw, flush draw.
