10 max. Villain is unknown.
It's folded to me on the button. I raise with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB folds, BB 3bets, i call. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB checks, I go wtf and check as well. Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB bets, hero... From my experience, the 3bet check line from villain is usually a strong hand (not this particular villain, but in general). But since i know that my memory is selective and i tend to remember the bad things better than good things, it's possibble he's got pockets like 55-99 or a weaker Ax. So i call down ? What if i had A4o ? /Riku |

there's pretty much no difference between having A9 & A4 here, on this board.
I call down from turn as well, & expect to either see KK o a smaller pp, sometimes AQ/AJ, & on some occasions KQ/KJ (only against the truly strange opps). |

I'd call down any A here. It seems like whenever a preflop aggressor checks the flop these days it's a monster, but I still think you'll see a lower PP or something really strange here often enough.

I think there is the possibility that his flop check indicated weakness and that he bet the turn because you checked behind on the flop.
I would also call down from the turn with top pair. However, I think that I would have bet the flop when checked to, without fearing a check raise. |

Im not sure i like the bet.
1) This line is often a flopped monster. 2) He's probably not going anywhere anyhow even if we bet. 3) Im not sure we have the best hand. |

I suppose we are not far ahead of A2-A8, because several cards can come down on the river for a chop.

I would call down. Like u said we are probably beat, but checking this board is a terrible play by villain. So maybe he holds like QQ and went like: 'f* I also flop an OC! It's so unfair I'm gonna check so I don't lose more when I'm raised.' Who knows.
My logic in summary: The flop check is very stupid -> villain is very stupid -> he can hold a lot of weird hands -> we must call down |
