Applying for a new job and you have to take a piss test. How long before you got a call back with the results (business days)?

Yep, it should go back to the employer whether you are applying or already work there.

If they make a special call to you regarding the drug test, it won't be good news.

This is funny as I just got back from the med center doing a piss test for a new job.

I know in my case they are just sending it to the employer, I dont think they send it to you as an earlier post said "you should already know the results"

But a buddy of mine who already works for the same company did his piss test after being 28 days clean (which he was worried wasnt long enough) and he never heard anything back about it and still works there, so it must have been okay

I was given a form to go take a drug test at a local lab, they told me once they got the results they would call me back.

It's obvious you don't have any experience in this situation so heed the topic, I don't want your uninformed opinion.

um the question should be "How long till they called you back and offered you the job" or "How long after until you fired for not passing"

you will never know, asking is a very bad idea , best coure of action take the test, pretend like your clean.

Average is 1 - 2 weeks but I seen places take a month it depends where your employeer got it done and what services they paid for

Dude chill out... 90% of the time nobody will call you or talk to you about it unless you fail. Maybe in your specific case it is different. I doubt it though. Plus you should already know the results...
