***First Official BCS Standings Thread***
ESPN
1) The Ohio State 2) South Florida 3) BC 4) LSU 5) Oklahoma LSU only drops 3 spots after losing to now #7 Kentucky. #13 Kansas ahead of #14 USC. I'm sure this will start PLENTY of debate, so let's have it. |

Interesting that 3 SEC teams are ahead of Ohio State in the computers.

Re: ***First Official BCS Standings Thread***
I think USF and BC are a little overrated still, but I can't complain too much because they'll either plummet when they meet my expectations by losing, or else they'll justify their ranking to me while proving me wrong.
The only thing I *really* can't buy into is West Virginia being in the top 10... how are they possibly ahead of Oregon??? |

I think I would slide South Carolina up slot or two, but otherwise the top ten looks pretty reasonable. The top two look right, for no other reason than that I don't see anyone else that has done nearly as well as USF or Ohio State (BC was pretty meh against UMass and for parts of the Notre Dame Game too). What I will say is this: holy crap at the computers putting South Florida at #1, and holy crap at them being wrong by no more than two slots, probably one, and possibly none. I don't recall anyone talking about them more than five or six weeks ago. |

Re: ***First Official BCS Standings Thread***
I think BC will probably jump USF eventually if they win out. Be interesting to see how much they move up if they beat VT this weekend. What do you guys think?
