In market for new monitor
Am shopping around to replace my bust 17" CRT, aiming for a 19-20" TFT. Have found this one which looks like a decent price for the size, but I've not needed to buy a new monitor in the past five years or so, so I don't really know what to look out for in terms of specs - in particular my video card doesn't have a DVI output, only an old 15-pin thing. Anyone see anything majorly wrong with this one?

Re: In market for new monitor
Nope. I don't know of any monitors out there that only do DVI and not VGA so you should be able to connect the new monitor to your machine. You may want to find what the max resolution your video card will support is before you go buy a monitor that's too big for it, or you can add another 100 bucks or so and get a new video card while your at it.
As far as models go I have a Samsung 204b and can highly recommend it. |
