Default Laptop stand for the couch

I want to get some kind of stand that I can put a laptop on when I am sitting on the couch so it will sit at a reasonable height allowing me to use it while watching tv. If you have something like that or have tried one your input/suggestions would be appreciated.

Here are some I have found so far

Basic, small surface area, cheap

More hi-tech/fancy, but costly

Middle range

Putting mine on my lap works for me.

I got one for around 50 from Ikea. They only had one model, you can adjust the height and the angle of the table. Really useful to me next to the bed while I watch TV. Looks much nicer than the TV dinner tray you posted!

My laptop gets way too hot on my lap so a little stand works great for me.

A lap desk that no human should be without. I recommend these to everyone that asks, and everyone thanks me.

If you must have a stand, my CEO bought one of these after buying the lapdesk above. He loves it.

I actually really like those tablemates - but they are so crappily made. I can't believe no one makes that exact design, but in a higher quality (wood and metal).

That "high tech/costly" one is awful.

Do you really need the printer when you're surfing from the couch?
