Default O8 in LA?

My family and I may move to LA soon and I'm looking for information on the (more or less) regular games there at 15/30 and above LO8 and any PLO8. We were in LA for three days during WSOP and there was nothing running at the cardrooms higher than 6/12. I'd like to chalk this up to all the action being in Vegas but I know nothing.

Please post any known action in the area. Feel free to PM if you feel the need. Any info is greatly appreciated.

This kind of question has been asked a lot recently so check for old threads, but I have never seen anything above the 6/12 (with full kill at the Bike) offered in LA. I don't frequent the high limit rooms though, so they could be there but are likely to be way above 15/30.

i've heard it goes from 20/40 to 300/600, i.e., nothing inbetween.

But where? Bike, Commerce, public cardrooms, or underground? I would think that these are spread in the cardrooms but I just didn't see them during my visit.

Commerce during tournament time. Sometimes a random high mix game will break out weekly. Usually not during the summer though.

Don't move to LA, it's too crowded already. No joke...

iirc the guy was referring to the commerce, but i could be mistaken.

i did get the vibe that there wasn't a lot of LO8 in LA though.

When I was at Commerce the only games from 20/40-100/200 were Stud and Holdem aside from a random 30/60 Lowball game that broke out one morning at like 6am. A couple of times there was a 200/400+ mix game that had Omaha in it.

While we're on the topic, are there any 18+ casinos that spread low limit L08 in the LA/Southern California area?
