Sickest hand of poker ever
Apologies if this has been posted before.
http://www.break.com/index/a-crazy-game-of-poker.html For those who dont know, Kallakis is known as one of the loosest players on the European circuit. So passing KK is possibly the worst play in the world. |

Loose does not mean '4bets cold with nothing.'

Re: Sickest hand of poker ever
But loose does constitute 4 betting with TT-KK and AK.
Interesting hand i once played against Denis o'mahoney in a $1k (£500) tournament here in England. cut a long boring hand short..i had 89hh Denis had Q9o. And he called my 4 bet all in on a JhTh3x flop. Now this is why i cant understand why he is passing KK! Kallakis is loose, omahoney is loose (the majority of the time), yet he still passes! Incredible. |

[/ QUOTE ] It looks like the guy with kings made a terriffic read, and managed to correctly pass when he would have been a 4:1 underdog if he'd called. As for your range on Kallakis as being much wider than AA because he played like a super LAG in a 1K tournament, I don't think you can use that as a reliable gauge for how he'd play in a 100K+, 3-way, re-raised tournament pot when at least one of the two raisers in front of him at least has a big pair or AK. O'Mahoney correctly interpreted Kallakis' long, "Oh, gee, I guess I just HAVE to push here, but it's so hard to know just what to doooooo... I guess I just have to POOOSH..." manner as the nuts. Great read, and great lay down, IMO. |

Re: Sickest hand of poker ever
This guy is not four betting with air over the top of two solid players no matter how loose he is. If this was a heads up pot, I think O'Mahoney might have moved in and just accepted his fate. But the player behind him raised as well. He figured that if Kallakis didn't have AA, then Hickman might have had them.
Very difficult laydown to make at a shorthanded table. I probably shove all-in there. |

Re: Sickest hand of poker ever
The guy with aces did some things that could have given away his hand.

Re: Sickest hand of poker ever
Odd that the commentator says he's never seen AA, KK, QQ before. I've seen it four times in play, and oddly the first three times the AA lost.
Kallakis is giggling it seems, so maybe there's a specific tell there. |

Re: Sickest hand of poker ever
This doesn't even compare to Negreanu vs. Hansen on HSP S2. I don't think I have ever seen a sicker hand in my life. Not only was the beat sick, but the way the hand was played.
