Re: Weird NL600 hand, flop OESFD
Raise more on the flop when you 3bet so you actually have some fold equity.
As played either bet $80 or $300 on the river . KoW |

Re: Weird NL600 hand, flop OESFD
Pot sized reraise on the flop is to $140, so it's not much of a difference.
Why river bet instead of c/r? I think any made hand would have bet the turn, yes? What is going to pay off a pot-sized bet? Most of his 2-pair and pair + draw hands would have been raised PF. I am just hoping for something like A2c or Axc that will pay it off? I get bluff-raised sometimes probably and that is good... but besides that, why isn't c/r superior? Wouldn't any hand, that pays off a river bet, bet the river itself? |

Re: Weird NL600 hand, flop OESFD
Isn't a pot sized raise $160?
I would raise it to $160 on the flop anyway. I don't know about the river. You might get two pair to call a bet, but I don't know if two pair would really bet that scary azz board. |

Why river bet instead of c/r? [/ QUOTE ] I think villian is too passive (judging only by stats) to go for the c/r. Against a normal opponent, c/r is much better. |

KoW [/ QUOTE ] No, we don't want FE since we are a favorite against TP and 2 pair hands. We want them to call. A set is only pushing over any raise so I think a 120 bet is puuuurrrrfecto! Oh, OP, the cash in your avatar... hit a live mtt? |

Re: Weird NL600 hand, flop OESFD
no, when turn comes hero is 2 to 1 dog against KQo.
You're behind on flop (unless he has lower flush draw or whatever), so its great if he folds on flop. |
