Default Poker & Ethics

I'm writing an article about poker & ethics, where one of my objectives is to try and draw a line from the conmen's game of Poker in Vegas in the 60's and 70's to the poker boom and the rise of online poker.

Problem is, I need some anecdotes from the early stages. Wikipedia is surprisingly lackluster when it comes to juicy gossip about some of the big names back then. Also, some general information about how the games were at that time would be very much appreciated (paging David Sklansky..)

I wrote the following article a few months ago, with Doyle and Slim both verifying the story. If you have any questions regarding it, contact me at gary@wisehandpoker.com.
