I did, and recommend it to others that are looking to invest or just have extra cash around.

I read this some time ago. It was an enjoyable read and I felt it was less sensational and more practical than many of the other financial doom books out there

Peter Schiff does have some vested interests in promoting his POV and his copmany (Euro Pacific Capital) which he does regularly and with a refreshing change to the usual talking heads living in ignorant bliss on CNBC.

Many of his predictions have (finally!) come true, but he still gets regularly beaten up over his 'radical' stance and predictions by the mainstream media. I actually enjoy listening to his rational mantras during TV financial debates getting ridiculed.

His basic strategy:
The $ is toilet paper and inflation is back so:
-Invest in dividend-paying non-US stocks in developed countries
-Buy gold/gold stocks
-Stay liquid (international MMs)
