Playing With Zombies
Im sure that we've all been there. Its usually around 1-2am and the table turns into a bunch of mindless limping pumpkins (not that they werent before). Any action that might have been at the table dies and people stop raising. I get pretty disgusted at this point and as much as i try not to get into the calling-station-trying-to-hit-a-flop mode, im probably to tired to do anything else. Whats the best way to take advantage of the table at this point or is it probably better to call it quits and come back when the action players return instead of trying to bust the people already in for a few buy ins?

Re: Playing With Zombies
You don't want to play against a field of 'mindless limping pumpkins'? I do. Yes, I sure do.

Shoot them in the head. It's the only way to kill a zombie.

Re: Playing With Zombies
Good Lord. It's tables like this that are the reason I often start a session at midnight.
If you're too tired to take their money, just shoot them in the head and go get some sleep. |

Re: Playing With Zombies
Well if you're not having fun playing with these people, there's the possibility you won't try to play your best.
But realistically this zombie-limpfest means you can do more work post-flop and see a *few more* flops, but I wouldn't overdo it. I'm with ya though, 3/6 zombie nights can be very trying, sometimes it's better to stick to conditions you enjoy. |
