2/4, bam! interesting pf decision!
i got to talking about this hand with a fellow microer and we were fiercely debating pf. if i do the math right, we're getting about 8 : 1.5 immediately with the probable outcome of one of the blinds (the bb is very loosepassive) coming along as well. call it 9 : 1.5 or 6 : 1 for now. what is your range here for calling 1.5 (as opposed to 3betting)? i said any pocket pair say eights and below plus middle/high suited connectors -- this created some drama.
plus we have position. what say you guys? if we had 22, call here pf too right? as far as postflop, standard right? Ultimate Bet Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $2/$4 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 raises, CO folds, Button calls, hero calls, BB calls, MP1 calls. Re: 2/4, bam! interesting pf decision!
For me preflop is fairly close (I know there are quite a few players who would always call this) with 3 in. I make the decision to play or not based upon if those who have put money in are generally good or bad players.
Easy call (or raise if appropriate) with any pair. Postflop is standard. |

i said any pocket pair say eights and below plus middle/high suited connectors [/ QUOTE ] Yup! Postflop is standard. Also, if you think your hand is strong enough to c/r here, I don't see why you don't think it is in the other hand. Your position is different, but I'm not sure that will dissuade anyone with a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to keep going. |

I need some more discussion of the threebie.
I'm in with any pair or suited conns that I'm not raising with. Nh - I guess noone had a broadway club? |

Live I call because I'll win the most when I hit because they're idiots, online I fold here, but it's pretty close.
If my mood is right, I call. As you can see this is all very unscientific. |

i think i could 3bet every now and then for metagame/deception but it's certainly not standard in a fullring game
