Default AK river?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

MP ($87.40)
Button ($69.30)
Hero ($97.50)
BB ($71.61)
UTG ($279.45)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, Button calls $1, Hero (poster) raises to $5.5, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP calls $5, Button folds.

Flop: ($15) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $12, MP calls $12.

Turn: ($39) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks.

River: ($39) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $15, MP raises to $30, Hero calls $15.

Final Pot: $99

Guy is 51/13/1 (although F/T/R agg is 8/1/2 over 50 hands)

Hmmmmm, confused about my turn play here - got what I wanted but checked Does a check have more value by inducing river calls or bluffs?

River - standard value bet of around half pot, suppose I could have bumped it to about $20. Easy call of the MR? What hands would have a 3 that would play this way?

Turn is OK if you are going to CR. However, I'm not sure if this guy is aggro enough to go for a CR. I'd rather bet $35ish on the turn because the flop was so drawy.

As played I would call the river.

That's kinda weird. I will usually bet this on the turn to about 30-35. If our turn bet gets raised, we have a big decision. I say bet the turn and probably c/c the river. As played, bet/call the river is fine. Just curious, why did you decide to bet 15 into the 40 pot on the river. Fake blocking bet? Value bet? Were you hoping to get raised here?

My value bets are about half the pot - dont know why I bet 15 here (maybe after rake was taken out 15 was closer to half then 20, dont know)

Trying to seem weak and get calls from weak K and 6 or 7s. A bigger bet would get alot of folds and have little value

I wouldn't have minded betting this turn, though checking with the intention to c/r seems okay too.

I like checking with intention of c/r on the turn.
As played I would def call the river seems like if he had a set be played VERY oddly.
He may have a hand like 99,TT and your turn check made him think he has the best hand?
