Tried to mix it up with AA and it backfires.

Villain is 38/27/44 but I expect him to be more 30/24. Did I play this correctly?

If you wanna smooth call preflop with AA then at least do it in position. The rest is fine allthough I like a slightly larger flop bet.

mixing it up vs. non-thinking opponents is fps, plain and simple. they aren't thinking for a reason, that reason being they are bad. just 3-bet for value and profit playing good solid poker vs. these guys. as it is i would def c/r flop but if u lead i think u played the turn and riv fine.

mixing it up here shouldn't ever be necessary really, I guess you could try it though whatever. I hate what you did when the flop came like that though. Were you just planning on leading any flop? Probably should've rethought on this board.

I like mixing it up vs a guy who can't fathom that someone would call AA pre. But it means you gotta felt your hand when in doubt.
