What organizations have you recently donated money (or time) to?
Me:
American Civil Liberties Union Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (Feel free to discuss these on an ideological basis but I'm just curious what people out there are into.)

[/ QUOTE ] (Since you invited comment) The second one sounds good. The ACLU is a good idea in theory, but what a horribly bastardized mess of an organization it has become. I gave to March of Dimes and St. Jude's Children's Hospital recently. Also, Ducks Unlimited.

The V Foundation
I know they show the commercials for it every year during the ncaa tournament, but it gets me every time. Ive had too many close relatives affected by both cancer and Jimmy V himself. He was an amazing man and coach, and any charity good enough for Coach K and Dick Vitale is good enough for me.

Environment California monthly.
i only do that because some guy approached me on the street. sounded like a good idea at the time. if people approached me from habitat for humanity or american cancer society i'd totally be down.
