WSOP advice
Who is planning to play the omaha h/l events?
I'm in for the $1500 O8 on Tuesday and back for the $1500 PLO8 and the $2000 O8 later in the month. I wanted to play todays $2500 stud/omaha event but couldn't pony the cash for all four so I skipped this one. I watched some of it tonight and the play was quite aggressive preflop, most flops contested 2 or 3 way. I saw quite a number of players raising/reraising preflop with hands like AKKQ or A3KT rainbow. I also noticed several small blinds who called for 3-bets. Who's playing? Any advice or experience to give? |

Re: WSOP advice
Win every hand where you VP$IP after the 3rd level, and you should be fine .

Re: WSOP advice
I'm excited to play tomorrow. played last year in at least one of them. As I recall, there were a number of players who were basically just dicking around, playing 70% with some getting lucky and others not so much. I think greater emphasis on drawing to the nuts and fear of the nuts than normal should be advised. There is plenty of edge to be had in these events.

Re: WSOP advice
gl dude. I'll stop by to watch a bit.
I got hit over the head with a cable from the roof and asked to leave when I had no chips left around 1am Wednesday morning. |
