diablo 2
Any of you guys still playing? Ladder or non-ladder?
For whatever idiotic reason I am non-ladder. I have a lvl 87 hammerdin ubered out with Ptorch, Anni, Shako, Nigma, HOTO, HoZ, Arach, 2xSOJ, perfect Travs and Magefist (and perfect Maras) doing 13k dmg with 282% MF (decent), name "supbrodekai" ... if any of you still play (non-ladder) or want to rush me (if i make a new ladder char) let me know. I'm tired of doing 50x baal runs for 1/2 of a level. Also if anyone can effectively guber, let me know b/c I can get organ sets. |

Re: diablo 2
A couple guys started playing after the patch (HC ladder EAST) but most have slowed down.....I still play occasionally but there is a lack of games in nm and hell. About a month ago I lost my lvl 87 sorc so Im trying to rebuild but its tough without a rush.
if you feel like giving HC EAST ladder a try *2plus2Kaiser is the account name. |

Re: diablo 2
The thing about games like Diablo 2 is that they're a great idea for like a day or two, but quickly get boring after you've beat them infinite number of times. But you always get that rekindle and then a week later you're not wanting to think about it.
It's a great game at first, dont get me wrong, but it's very repetitive |

Re: diablo 2
Haha.. I feel exactly the same way about World of Warcraft. I keep selling accounts, then I miss it, start a new, get bored, and sell it.
Just to save on time, I created my own private server so I can actually do something interesting (like solo Illidan) if I start missing the game but don't want to invest much time in it before I start hating it again. |

Re: diablo 2
It strikes me as the perfect game to play when you want something kind of relaxing that you can start and stop anytime and get in a little mindless fun. I used to be more into RTS's for the tremendous competitiveness and drama you could get playing against real people and seeing who can outsmart who, but you really have to keep your skills up in those and they take a lot of more carefully budgeted time. D2 is fun for me to just sort of fart around in completely at my leisure and doesn't suffer for my not being totally immersed in it. Plus I just dig that old-timey demonic theme. It's a cool place to dump a few hours in. I could see never actually throwing it away.
