Default MTT Donkament - Marginal Aces (AcA8c9c) EP - 12M

Any tourney players have a policy on what aces are worth stealing with from early position, with a non-desperate stack? Are weak aces even worth a limp from EP, if you know that any PR after you will be at least 48% HU?

When I first looked at this hand, I considered mucking it as 'marginal aces.' In order to steal, it needed to get through five players (3 with bigger stacks than mine), and after playing with propoker tools, I see that it's rarely better than 52% over anything else HU. It's low is super-weak, and it's blocking its own flush. Also, I had been on a heater for the last 10 hands, going from <2M up to 12M through a series of nice hands and steals, so I had reason to believe that the steal would be contested.

Instead, I said to myself 'Aces is Aces, and BB calls with anything, so maybe I can double up'. In the end, my read of the BB was correct, and he pushed me all-in on a weak low draw and inside straight draw only, so it was only bad because he hit. That still doesn't seem to justify the play, however.

As you can see, 3 have me covered, but I would be putting a serious dent in any of their stacks if they got into it.
