Default Playing in the WSOP

I have a friend that recently won an on-line qualifier for the WSOP and he has asked me to help him train for it since this will be his first major live tournament in a casino.

Are there any books, articles or 2+2 posts that you can recommend?

Some of the books we already have are:

Tournament Poker for Advanced Players by David Sklansky
Harrington on Hold 'em 1 & 2
Zen and the Art of Poker by Larry Phillips
The Tao of Poker by Larry W. Phillips
The Psychology of Poker by Alan N. Schoonmaker

Thanks

play as many of the deep stack tournies on stars as you possibly can or, sit in a nl ring game and never reload till you're stacked.

Tell him to spend his time playing rebuys online, also the deepstacks, and to also play NL cash games. I had a lack of experience in these when I played last year's main event (I was good at limit poker and online NL freezeout tournaments which use very small stacks) and I felt it definetely hurt me.

As for books, "Little Green Book" by Gordon and "Making the Final Table" by Lindgreen are OK. I would also read D. Brunson's NLHE chapter in "Super System".

As mentioned NLHE cash games are good and the "deep stacks" tournaments on Stars.

I would also get experience with live tournament play. You need to get used to things like not looking at your cards until it is your turn to act.

He should also practice his "Flop Connection" exercises.

All the books say that's what you're supposed to do.
