Re: spewy turn raise
If you do that, you need to fold the river. (Although the pot odds are obv good)
However, I wouldn't raise the turn. I'd possibly raise the flop though. |

Re: spewy turn raise
Actually, scratch that, raising the turn is reads based. Some players it's good.

Re: spewy turn raise
your sample size on villain is very small. if we had more hands on this guy and he's still at pfr4, then yes, don't like the c/r turn against a pfr4 nit. so just c/c. his range has you toasty.
but, again, sample size on villain is small, so the way you played it could be the nuts or bad, who knows. we need more info. as played, no way do you fold that river getting 14.5 to 1, jeesus. |

What do we beat? [/ QUOTE ] pick any two cards. it doesn't matter. we don't have a sufficient read on this guy (25 hands is nothing) and the pot is laying us a ton in the way of odds. everyone gets out of line sometimes. perhaps this guy has been card dead and now is gonna muscle his way into winning a pot? |

Re: spewy turn raise
I think your turn raise was a bad idea. Board is too ragged for MP to continue betting the turn on anything but aces or a king. Good seat at this table - what the hell is SB calling with on this crap board?
