Re: my first sesh on stars, tricky river decision
so you think that games are tight and dull but you're not sure what to do in this hand when you got raised on the turn when the board paired for a boat and are now being bet into on the river?

Re: my first sesh on stars, tricky river decision
Tibal is generally pretty loose passive and almost never puts money in raising without the nuts. The minraise on the turn is his idea of a value bet. Against other players I either call the minraise and bet/fold the river or fold the turn, unless I decide he's got a weak boat I can get him off of.

Decision = instamuck + 5 seconds.
Facing that kind of heat on the turn and river given board texture, you are almost never ahead. |
