Earning money on Spam Mail Stocks

Hey Guys,

i often get spammail like today:

Hi xxxx
Emergency report. Check DMXC!
5 day price: ~$0.50

The stock is currently at 0.03$ Obviously they own huge amounts of this stock and will drop them onto the market once enough people fell for the mail and actually bought the stock.
The guys that run the scam will probably sell the stock around 0.40§ (just a guess), which will make the stock plummit. Everyone will try to sell the stock and the price will be around 0.03$ again, or even worse.

My thought was that it might be possible to buy a good amount of this stock, lets say 1000$ worth, wait for one day till the people that get the spam mail start to demand the stock and then sell it maybee around 0.20$.
The profit would be huge.

What are your thoughts on this? I think we do not need to discuss ethical aspects, as in applying the proposed plan one would clearly take advantage of the stupidity of people.

Once you get the mail and place your order the price has probably already been artificially inflated too much.

This is the main strategy of the hedge fund kid from Wall Street Warriors so it can be done. Of course his recent record ain't so good.
