Default $15 stars facing a min raise from donk

Ok, well this hand will look waaaaaay too aggro but I did it because of a previously played hand. The opponent is a moron. In a previous hand at 50/100, I opened AK for 300 LP, he calls from blind. Jxx flop, I cbet 400, he shoves and I really didn't think he has a hand (plus I had 700 behind). I call, he has ATo no pair no draw, I win...

A few hands later, this happens. I read his min raise as "fancy play from a donkey and figured if I am at least calling, shoving is better b/c it might fold some small pps and really, he might even call w/ KT or something stupid.

You have like 18 bb's or something, do you really wanna risk your tourney life against this guy with KQo?

He's shown you before that he's will to shove your c-bet postflop with nothing, and if you whiff do you really wanna be all in again?

So does that mean fold pre and not even open for 375?
If I do raise tho, I at least have to call the small re-raise, right?

donks like this come out wayy too agro on the flop in 3 bet pots which puts you in a tough spot even with position on the flop. ill open this up from hijack and fold to minireraise just so long as he hasnt been stepping out of line every time you open.

fold preflop or fold after the raise

why call the raise if you hit K or Q are you ahead at that point?

How often are you going to be ahead pf vs even a donk raiser

just not worth messing around with it specially with him being the big stack.

ryot, I am on btn and act after him and cannot stop n go. I think opponent was getting tricky with me as previously he had CR'd my cbet w/ A hi no draws. I felt like he was playing back at me and he was like 60/15 over 30 hands.

I do agree that since his stack is big too, 3bet shoving is pretty dangerous. In terms of metagame though, opening btn for 2.5x and folding to a min raise will lose all respect for my LP open raises.

JK, what hands do you open here, like 88+, AJs+, AQo+ and do you 3bet shove pre w/ say only TT+, AK? I usually open a bit lighter than this and am interested in knowing if it's a leak or just personal preference.

I guess in future situations if I think a donk is going to play back at me, I shouldn't bother opening btn with hands at the bottom of my range

Hmmn I open a little wider usuall 400 at this stage but w/e. But As I call as such a I call a bit wider maybe shoeve AQ and 99 in there as well.

Maybe just call and if you hit and your reads right let him bet into you. If you miss let it go you still have enough to continue.

I think call>>Fold>>Push.
