Rules of thumb when deciding to add-on:

1) You should almost always take the add-on

2) You should not take the add-on if you feel that you no longer have a chance to win the tournament. Not taking the add-on in this situation is equivalent to giving up.

3) You should not take the add-on if it will add less than 10% to your chip stack. For example, you should not take the add-on if it would add 1,000 chips to a t30,000 chip stack.

4) You also do not have to take the add-on if you have a massive chip lead on the field. In other words, if every player below you added and you would still have a sizable chip lead, taking the add-on is unnecessary (although I would personally do it).

Just my opinion.

I agree with a normal rebuy, but does this count towards a sattelite where you basically just have to get a sertain stacksize.
1 double up would be enough to get a ticket here

I suppose in the case of a satellite, it'd be worth taking if you didn't have a large chip lead regardless of how little it increases your stack.
