Re: What does this graph mean? :o
Your image doesn't work but I'll answer anyway.
Your sample size is too small, these results mean nothing. You should probably play less fancy. |

Re: What does this graph mean? :o
Sample size too small? I don't think so. He's playing break even for more than 19.000 hands, that has to tell something.
From 9.000 to 10.500 you have a nice streak, but still you see some mayor swings in that short amount. Overvalueing big pairs? Maybe you're calling too much raises instead of folding or reraising. Maybe your chasing draws too much. Maybe your gameselection sucks and you're playing too much against rocks instead of fish. One thing is sure: you have a lot of work to do. |

Errr....19k hands isn't small.
I'd say this graph means you have a lot of holes in your game that you need to work on. I'd consider playing less and working harder to improve your game. |

[ QUOTE ]
Your sample size is too small, these results mean nothing. [/ QUOTE ] This is not true. The sample size is not big enough to get 4 digits of precision in the winrate perhaps, but to say that these results mean nothing is just enabling OP to not take responsibility for his own results and blame it on variance instead. There's probably a 95% chance that OP is misplaying. Not enough to lose perhaps, but enough to not win. |

How much tables are you playing Stabbyah?
How long are your sessions? Do you play when you're tired? Do you use Pahud? What are your stats? What do YOU think your leaks are? |

Re: What does this graph mean? :o
I looked at your AJs hand post. The preflop call was fantastically bad. You should post more hands if you're serious about getting better.

Re: What does this graph mean? :o
At the moment I posted the image didn't work, so I had to guess, sorry for the confusion that caused.
OP: I think it's more useful to make PT screenshots and let those get checked than posting a pokerEV graph. |

Re: What does this graph mean? :o
Sklansky Bucks can only be calculated for hands that went to showdown- So the chart shows that when you went to showdown, you won about the right amount of the time. The amount you actually won tracks the amount you ought to have won. This is frankly unsurprising. When you get to showdown, you win lots of money.
The third line shows all the money you actually won, including the hands that didn't get to showdown. When you don't go to showdown you break even. The following is gross specuation: You are probably folding too much, and not inducing enough folds yourself. Steal more. Bet more. |

Re: What does this graph mean? :o
This is basically telling you when you go to showdown you are good but in pots that do not go to showdown (green line) you are spewing very bad. I have mined some better players and all of them have green lines way above showdown lines. For NL 5 my green line runs the same as my red and blue showdown lines.
