PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed)
BTN (t1950) SB (t6050) BB (t2215) UTG (t3285) Preflop: BB is with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . SB push 6050, BB Calls BB is Bigjoe2003, who we all know is very good. poker_in_pb is SB and the games I have played with him shows that he pushes any2 in this spot. But why do you, Bigjoe2003, call here since the play is -EV even if SB is oushing 100% Is there another reason for the call? Metagame? Tilt? New theory? Joey was probably too busy flipping through Oz on his diamond studded remote to care about the $50 in equity.

You're saying this call is -EV, even if SB is pushing with any hand? That's not true. Unless I'm missing something here, Pokerstove is telling me that A4 is better than a 56% favorite to win against an average hand. Seems like a perfectly reasonable call to me.

-ev if you do it often but occasionally done its probably the best play... and joe knows hes pushing any two and knows hes ahead so he will gamble... but he will not always call here, his results speak for itself bigjoe is the best
