200PLO: AATT linecheck

Re: 200PLO: AATT linecheck
Looks fine to me. He's either got the 4 or is making a big bluff since he hasn't been out of line I'd guess he has the 4. This would be a really odd way to play JJ.

Re: 200PLO: AATT linecheck
Having the Ac kind of eliminates the chance that he is check raising you with a flush draw (although this would a very stupid thing to do). He almost definatly puts you on AAxx and I could never see this being a bluff without you two having a history and him knowing you can lay down AAxx on a crappy flop. Fold for me.

Re: 200PLO: AATT linecheck
would you guys say JJXX or 4XXX is more likely here? Obviously, there are more combos of 4XXX, but his 4-bet calling range is more polarized towards something like JJT9 ds than 4567, right?
note:I'm not saying it's more correct for villian to call w/ JJXX here, because it has worse equity vs. AAxx than 4567. Just wondering about unknown vvillian tendencies. |

Re: 200PLO: AATT linecheck
FTR, this hand is a pretty good illustration of why you don't want to be reraising your AAxx in this spot. You've got no suits so you're going to be stuck OOP on a lot of flops that you didn't connect with at all and you're way too deep to just commit to flops that you don't hit. I think calling and playing for set value would be a much better play than reraising in this situation.
