gotta go to court

about a month ago, i made a post that my license got suspended which can be found here driving on a suspended license

now i gotta go to court. what kind of penalties should i look forward to? what's the best way to handle this case? get a lawyer?

Didn't read the thread you linked to, but my advice is dress nice... like wear a suit. And turn your cell phone off or leave it home. I beieve if it rings in court you spend the night in jail for contempt of court.

A month or so in jail (VA). Get a lawyer, the key is proving you did not know it was suspended, or at least making sure they cannot prove you did.

i didnt do anything because i was waiting for the letter from them to get the court date. that may have been retarded on my part
