Re: QKc Deep vs Raiser
no reads on villain?
I would rather fold/3-bet pf than just call, but i think you can make an argument for all 3. On flop, just c/c. Once you get to the turn, I dunno, the only hand you beat is a poorly played AK/AA. He's more likely holding a set or AJ and ure drawing thin. |

Re: QKc Deep vs Raiser
ouch, very ugly. Villain's huge raise is not a bluff. The only hands that justify that raise have 2 pair crushed. 200BB is too mucho to stack off that light

Re: QKc Deep vs Raiser
Really? He is raising 8% of hands and is UTG, so I don't think AJ is a big part of his range. His flop call looks like AK keeping me honest, and the turn raise represents that as well to me.
I see that looking more like AK or AA, What hands am I really worried about? QQ/TT/66 probably raises flop because of draws, right? It seems to me im only looking at KK/AJ that im behind to me, but please reason why this is wrong! |

Re: QKc Deep vs Raiser
Shoving turn is not a good idea, because we're folding out 1-pair hands that we have beat, and we're getting snapcalled by sets and straights. I think the most profitable play here is to call the turn and c/c a decent amount on the river.

Re: QKc Deep vs Raiser
*grunch* I don't mind the play.
I'd proabably call the turn re-raise instead of shoving. I'm pretty scared of AJ here its a big part of his range. Can't say I could get away from it thought. |
