Default Question RE: Online LHE

I wanted to post this question here rather than the internet formum because my question relates to LHE.

LHE is my first love. I started out with a $200 bankroll on Paradise and slowly worked myself up to playing 10/20 at Party. I was doing great until the "legislation" hit. I withdrew all my funds and now I almost exclusively play NL in home games. I almost never get to play LHE anymore except the occasional Borgata trip where I play either 10/20 or 20/40. I am amazed at how soft these games are at the Borgata.

I can't fight the itch to play LHE anymore and I've started checking out the online games. I mainly want to get my LHE fix, and to try and keep some of my skills sharp for my A.C. trips. The problem is that the whole landscape on online LHE seems to have changed. The only site I've seen online that seems to have regular 5/10 or 10/20 full ring games is PS. The games at these limits are much tougher than anything I've seen at the casinos.

My question is this . . . What site (if any) and what limit should I be playing at which would be similar to the 10/20 and 20/40 games at the Borgata?

I found the 2/4 party game to be tougher then most 15/30 games I've played in Canadian Casinos. Scary.

Oh man, Casino Rama and the casino in Brantford. We were in pure shock. Haha it was like out of a poker wet dream or something. And the nutty part was as soon as they'd open a 30/60 game, the same fish would want in ! I wasn't rolled for 30/60

Unfortuanately, you will not find any LHE games online as soft as the live games you're used to. They just don't exist. The players who plop their money down online and play the LHE cash games will always have some sense of pre-flop hand selection and post flop play. You will occasionally find the drunkard who raises whenver the action gets to him, but, don't count on it. The games are still beatable though. You say you play 10/20 and 20/40 live, so I imagine you're doing "okay." If I were you, I'd deposit about $1500 into PS or FTP and start playing full ring 3-6 LHE. Build from there. Play very, very tight, and very very aggressive. Play during the evenings; the games during the day are very tough to beat.
Good luck to you.
