This is totally villain dependent. If villain is ABC player, you're probably ahead on flop.

If villain is good/tricky, this is marginal.

If I am in position vs. ABC villain, I like cold calling s re-raise preflop in this type of situation, and stacking. If i'm out of position, I may like re-raising preflop, esp. if I think villain will re-pop with QQ or less. I usually have a huge re-raising range, and so, re-raising preflop is sometimes more +ev for me.

Think about what villain views your range has to make such a re-raise, and go from there.

actually i was quite confident about this one. I had been 3betting a lot (i think even just the hand before) and villain seemed to be decent. Kinda Taggish, hadnt seen anything tricky.

So yeah... I was just like "You dont have Kings do you... [censored] ... aces..."

Oops, in my previous pot, I was talking about how I would play Aces. Just to make that clear...

Yeah, people love to slow down with KK/AA when you 3-bet them. They really think they're cool.

Why are we potting this flop? If you really think this villain won't fold ANY overpair after you 3-bet PF and pot the flop this is an okay line. When I think I'm way ahead in these situations OOP I will check/call or C/R AI. Villain is gonna be way too committed to lay down any overpair. By leading I don't think we're getting action from hands we beat.
