Goldmine 100max 1/2NL live

So i've found a goldmine casino to play at where old men all go to drop their welfare checks. But there are some problems. Its 100max 1/2NL which is basically a short stack. How would this change the way you play the game?

Smaller VPIP i assume and more AF.

And, there is no rake on each hand. However, there is a timed rake of 5$ ever 30 minutes.

What do you think about this game and how would you go about playing it? Thanks.
