Online in China

Hello

In China for a few months. Anyone know how to play online here? Apparently there is a block on internet poker or something. Can download the sites but can't log on. Any suggestions?

pretty sure gambling is illegal in China since like 1949 - but I am sure you could setup a VPN in another country, and run the clients through that VPN.

Is your permanent address with the poker sites based in the US and will you be playing on sites that allow US players? If so, you should be fine with a VPN in the United States and then you won't run into cashout problems either.

permanent address in Europe, so no problems there. i know this is really dumb, but I am not very computer savvy - what is a VPN? and how do you set one up?

search on these forums in the last month or so. there is a lot of information. You can also talk to Freakin - I am sure he has a lot of information and he might even be able to set you up.
