Is anybody going to pick up the iWitness project or start a new one?
I dont really know why official updates stopped, but the program is still pretty buggy and with some work, could really kick some ass.
I'm more than happy to be a guinnea pig for new versions and help in any way I can...but I've tried looking through the iwitness code, and its a bit too far over my head to do anything myself... |

Re: Is anybody going to pick up the iWitness project or start a new on
My guess is that it's working fine for the people who first developed it, and nobody is posting any specific problems/complaints that are driving them to mess with it.
I've seen a couple of people post modifications here at 2+2 to update it for the new 12-table Party environment, but nobody has gone and updated the version posted on the Overcards wiki, even though it's open-source and freely editable (expressly so that people will share their improvements!) |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually the real reason is that I'm sick and tired of it. Plus at the moment I'm not doing any mining... all that data is pretty useless without a HUD. Soon as PokerAce adds Stud support I'm going to be a lot more interested in iWitness again. So, sorry that it's buggy right now, but I will eventually get around to re-writing it... just not right now... |
